Long awaited Sephora haul

Hey guys! So I have been waiting to haul at sephora for awhile.. I waited for about a month and finally got around to buying some stuff for myself and some presents :) I can't show you the presents I got b/c they might be reading.. sorry!


So I was running low on cotton pads and the ones I use always leave the cotton on my face. These ones are excellent and don't leave anything! You get a lot too =)





Oh before I go on, I have to mention that I dyed my hair so its not black anymore. Its dark brown/red again... black just made me looked washed out and was getting patchy looking, maybe when I have longer hair it'll look better... SO now that I have red in my hair again.. its best not to wash your hair everyday. So I decided to invest in a dry shampoo.. this is one of the more popular ones. I've tried the Ojon one but I was allergic to the smell.

I also got (from recs) the FRESH deodorant. I'm always trying out new ones and everyone seemed to love this stuff. I hope this works well. If not, at least I'll smell nice? lol

I have been drooling over all the fresh stuff, everything is great quality but its a bit steep for my wallet :(



I also got the sephora green primer (I have red spots on my face sometimes), a red polish for work, and drying drops (I got 2, one for me and one for mom) which would really help me!




Then I got a NARS red lipsticks I've been dying to get my hands on.. its called Jungle Red. I got the HD foundation... I've been wearing foundation a lot lately and this one was a good investment. I also got the sephora #55 airbrush which have been getting great raves.. its supposed to make your foundation look airbrushed (hence the name) and goes well with this foundation. Also grabbed the HD powder which I tried before... I loooove the texture.. this will last me a long time!

I don't think I will be hauling make up til next year ( I hope...)... though I think my haul was good because most of them were things I've been wanting for awhile, just haven't gotten around to purchasing them until now. Still need a couple of xmas gifts to look for... we will see how that goes. Sorry for the lack of updates again.. I hope to have another one by the end of the week at least! Have a good week <3

Ins and Outs + Ramblings + Awards!

Wow I feel like I haven't posted anything for awhile... I've been out of the house either working or spending time with the SO. I haven't really had time to just sit down and relax at home until today.




IN:

1. PUMPKIN PIE- I recently went to a restaurant with friends this past weekend and they actually had pumpkin pie! I've been dying to have one these past few weeks so I was happy to get it. It was delish!!! It was pumpkin pie with toasted marshmallows on top and a scoop of ice cream in the middle... whoa! It was sooo goood....
   
2. Red Lips (or bold lips)- Now that its colder, I have an excuse to wear darker colours whenever I want! I've also been making a Red lipstick list... the list of reds I'm dying to get my hands on...I think I may have a problem?
3. Days Off- I am now appreciating my days off more than ever. Work is supposed to get hectic really soon so these days off really help
   

OUT:

1. Waiting for the pay cheque- It feels like I've been waiting forever, I have bills to pay and I'm supposed to be getting paid soon, so I am very eager to get that over with!
2. dry skin- I've been experiencing dry skin on my upper lip the past few weeks, though its almost back to normal now. I had to apply vaseline on it every night so it wont crack! Can you tell I was super annoyed? I had to avoid lip stick/gloss and only wear balm, very frustrating.
3. Running out of beauty products all at once- I ran out of shaving cream, my lush mask, conditioner and cleanser all at once! It always seems to happen to me...

RAMBLINGS!

There are about 6 weeks left til Christmas (just to remind you), have you guys gotten around to making lists yet? or even shopping for presents? I haven't started shopping yet, but I'm trying to save up for presents which is very hard...

Long awaited haul! (Barry M and Maybelline)

I'm back again! This time with a real post. I just wanted to finally share with you some things I have gotten awhile ago. I got around to ordering Barry M Lip Paints from the Barry M web site. I choose the 3 that I've been most lemming.







146 Dolly Pink,147 Peachy Pink and 129 Pale Lavender.




These lipsticks are just amazing! The packaging is similar to NAR's lipsticks, just a bit skinnier. It has a rubbery feel to it as well but the logo is in gold and on the caps instead of around the cap like NARS'. I'm really glad I decided to try these, I dont regret it! Shipping was fast too, came in less than a week!


The pigmentation of these are just amazing considering they are a drugstore brand. Dolly Pink is such a vibrant hot pink, I wore it to work on day and everyone loved it! peach Pink is completely matte and though I love the colour, it is very drying on my already dry lips. I think I may put it up for swap when I have a blog sale... I'm not sure yet. The third one which is Palest Lavender is a milky purple with a hint of shimmer. Its very glossy and reminds me of a cross between fashion mews and Lavender whip from MAC.

I also picked up the Maybelline Colossal Mascara (waterproof of course).



It was on sale at SDM today for 3.99! I threw out my lash blast as it was flaking badly on me and I have been wanting to try this one out since I LOVE maybelline mascaras. Full&Soft WP is my HG mascara! I will be wearing this mascara all week so I will hopefully have a review on this one soon :) Hope all is well on your side! Thanks for reading!

busy bee!

Sorry for the lack of updates. I haven't had much time to myself lately and when I do I just wanna relax! Any way, I transferred jobs and so far I am liking my new one. lets hope I dont jinx it!
